I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience helping clients overcome their struggles. My approach is compassionate and warm, with the goal of assisting clients to feel a greater sense of empowerment in their lives. I work with clients to identify self-sabotaging patterns and overcome limiting beliefs, with a practical approach that leads to concrete change. I am also a state-approved supervisor with several years of experience overseeing clinicians who are seeking hours toward licensure.
Like many, I became a therapist because of my own experience in therapy. Being raised in a religious home, coming to terms with my identity as a gay man brought immense inner conflict, along with struggles with anxiety and depression. Therapy was the first place where I could be completely honest, totally myself, and finally address my needs.
Healing, change, and growth are possible. Working with a trusted therapist can accelerate the process and help you make significant changes in your life. If you’re ready to take the first step, please reach out to me to learn more.
